Application of design hand in!!

Just as we finish for Easter my module hand in! I'm feeling happy about this one, i feel i have learnt a lot from working as a team and it has help me to develop my skills and my work also.

We also received our next brief today... research practices.
We need to start our research my producing two sketchbooks of work looking at two different words
My first word i am looking at is biological and my second word is disfigured.

Contextuals Hand In

As part of my fashion degree i also have to look at the art/fashion history side. this is to ensure we are still strong in our writing and English skills. It is in a form of mini essays and one 2000 word essay however there all related to fashion. Finally it was time to hand in today so glad thats out the way :-)

Presentation

Today we had to sell our collection as a team to a 'buyer' with was actually my tutor... pretty scary but i think we did well. These pictures are of how we presented our work. We hung our work with hangers to carry the theme through out. We also created a statement about our aim also explaining our journey through the process are designs when through.

Range Plan- garments selected

Working towards my range plan...

Started my choosing the garments i felt worked well not only as a range but with the collection as a whole. I then checked the fabrics worked within each outfits. Finally to see how the range looked in colours as a whole. I feel it all works well so no need to change the garments selected just need to position them on the range plan isn't self.
